At Port Fòrum we continue to advance in our commitment to sustainable mobility and energy efficiency. At the beginning of this year we have expanded our electric vehicle charging infrastructure with the addition of 10 new parking spaces with electric chargers, in addition to the 14 existing ones.
Thanks to this expansion, the port has a total of 24 charging points for electric vehicles, consolidating its position as one of the benchmarks in electric mobility in the northern area of Barcelona, in collaboration with e-Totem.
The new facility incorporates different types of chargers to suit the needs of port users.
e-Fast fast chargers:
- 4 e-Fast chargers.
- Fast direct current (DC) charging.
- Power ratings between 100 kW and 150 kW.
- Ideal for reducing recharging time.
e-City chargers:
- 6 e-City chargers.
- Alternating current (AC) load up to 22 kW.
- They are in addition to the 14 existing e-City chargers.
The electric car charging points at Port Fòrum, installed next to e-Totem, are designed to offer a convenient and accessible experience for all users.
Available payment systems include:
- Bank card.
- QR code.
- RFID e-Totem card.
- e-Totem mobile application.
- Other compatible systems through interoperability standards.
This expansion reinforces Port Fòrum’s commitment to a more sustainable, innovative and environmentally responsible port, aligned with the electric mobility and sustainability strategies of the metropolitan area of Barcelona.
