Port Fòrum is preparing to host the first edition of the Chinese Gastronomic Festival, an event open to the public and free access, organized by the Federation of Chinese Corporations of Spain to be held on October 11 and 12, under the slogan “Gastronomy as a link, culture as a bridge and cooperation as a foundation”.
A vibrant proposal to immerse oneself in the authentic flavor and spirit of Chinese traditions, where attendees will enjoy exciting shows and a carefully planned program of cultural and gastronomic experiences designed to enrich every moment of the event.
The goal is to bring both traditional and modern elements of Chinese culture in a visual, interactive and accessible way for all audiences, creating a unique meeting space. The program combines visual shows, cultural activities and a great culinary offer is an open space that will feature more than 20 gastronomic booths and 10 dedicated to culture and crafts.
Attendees will be able to enjoy culinary demonstrations such as handmade noodles, traditional shows such as the dragon and lion dance, mask changing show, tea ceremony and fish-shaped lantern parade, among others. There will also be modern dance and wellness exercises such as Baduanjin, as well as a space to discover the Hanfu, traditional Chinese clothing.
The event aims to be a cultural bridge between China and Spain and offer visitors a unique experience of gastronomic and artistic exchange.
